Interested in volunteering? The Bright Hope Institute in Cambodia is looking for volunteers for an internship. The optimum would be a stay of at least eight weeks, to have the time to get familiar with the Institute and its students. The students get taught in English, other subjects and life skills. Therefore volunteers with a background of education or skills in teaching are very welcome. The BHI is also engaged in the local development of the province, so volunteers with experience in local development are needed, too.
Best would be an application by two volunteers at a time, so that tasks can be accomplished in teamwork. The tasks are mostly up to you, depending your interest and skills. It can be a great opportunity for you to develop projects with the students, to prepare and hold classes (teaching English) and engage in the Institute in many different ways. Therefore Volunteers should bring creativity, motivation, engagement and openness for a new experience.
The BHI is happy about every volunteer. Accommodation is provided by the Institute. The trip to get there and food must be payed by the volunteer. Meals can be bought at the Institute or at little local restaurants that are close by (2-4 Dollars a day).
Send your application (short motivation letter and C.V.) to the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
